Εγώ, λοιπόν, είμαι η Βάλια!

Ξεκίνησα την καριέρα μου ως ηθοποιός στην Αγγλία και, μέσα από την παράλληλη εμπειρία μου στον κόσμο του εκπαιδευτικού θεάτρου, ανακάλυψα το πάθος μου για τη δημιουργία κειμένου. Έτσι, αφού εξερεύνησα το χώρο του λιανεμπορίου και των επιχειρήσεων, αποφάσισα να στραφώ στο Digital Content Creation. Σήμερα, έχω καθιερωθεί στο χώρο ως Κειμενογράφος, Social Media Manager και επεκτείνω καθημερινά τα skills μου στην παραγωγή Creative Concepts.

Δημιουργικότητα και φαντασία: οι βασικές πηγές έμπνευσης που προσπαθώ να αξιοποιώ σε κάθε project που αναλαμβάνω. Στόχος μου είναι να προσδώσω ζωντάνια και άποψη στη digital "εικόνα" κάθε πελάτη μου.

Αγαπώ τη δουλειά μου. Για να αποδώσει, όμως, η δημιουργικότητά μου "φορτίζεται" από άλλες δραστηριότητες, όπως τα ταξίδια (το Svalbard είναι το βορειότερο κατοικημένο μέρος του κόσμου - κι είναι υπέροχο!), ο κινηματογράφος (πιο σταθερό storyteller από τον Spielberg, δύσκολα θα βρεις), οι συναυλίες (μόλις στο 2ο τραγούδι με τους Grinderman, το stage dive του Nick Cave θα μου μείνει αξέχαστο!).

Για μένα, οι ποικίλες εμπειρίες ζωής είναι η απαραίτητη "πρώτη ύλη" για οποιοδήποτε είδος δημιουργίας.

Me, in a few(ish) words

My journey has taken me across countries and professions.

I began in the UK as an actor and theatre teacher, where I spent a decade studying and working in the field.

However, I eventually felt the pull towards entrepreneurship and decided to open a trading company in Greece. It was a tough decision, but I was determined to make it work! For nine years, I ran my own business and learned a lot about what it takes to be successful.

In the meantime, I also became interested in promoting my brand digitally. I had to learn everything about social media, copywriting, and creating engaging content. It was a lot of work, but I discovered that this was what I loved to do.

So, in 2021, I decided to close my commercial business and focus solely on my new passion.

After completing a course on digital marketing, I started building my portfolio by writing texts for different fields and working as a Social Media manager. I managed TEDxAthens' social media for a full year and worked as a Copyeditor for various productions.

In 2022, I landed a job as a full-time Creative Copywriter at BAAS DIGITAL a dynamic digital advertising agency. It's been an amazing experience so far, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to expand my professional experience in building Creative Concepts.

I consider myself an extroverted introvert - while I enjoy interacting with people, I also value working alone. Perhaps this dichotomy is the basis of my creativity - who knows?
